Part-Time Director of Worship Ministries 

Position Description: The Director of Worship Ministries will organize and lead teams of musicians, vocalists, and A/V technicians to disciple the congregation through music. He will organize and facilitate all aspects of the worship ministry in cooperation with the Pastor-Teacher and under the oversight of the elders. He will disciple worship team servants, maintain a master list of songs, select songs for Oak Hill to sing each week, plan creative service elements, and work with the Pastor-Teacher to create the order of service for each Sunday gathering. He will also organize and communicate with all individuals associated with the flow of a Sunday gathering, leading them to understand their position in the order of service to facilitate an undistracted flow. At times he will be called upon to organize and lead other worship gatherings that build up the church. This position will answer directly to the Pastor-Teacher.

Part-Time Communications Assistant 

Position Description: The Communications Assistant will help the pastor and elders communicate the vision of the church, organizing details to help that vision come into reality. This will primarily be accomplished through designing and managing all aspects of the weekly bulletin, Sunday morning projection communications, church website, and social media (web-design knowledge is NOT required, but basic graphic design is). The administrative assistant will be expected to create materials that appeal visually and communicate clearly to the demographics of Oak Hill’s congregation and the Solanco community. They will manage the church’s database, ensuring timely record-keeping of new visitors, contact information for attenders and members, as well as background check data for children’s ministry security. At times, this assistant will also produce other communications necessary to the administration of the church. They will also help with the details of church business functions such as the annual meeting, and occasionally support other ministry coordinators (such as children’s ministry) in the production of materials at the approval of the direct supervisor. This position will answer directly to the Pastor-Teacher.
